Nicholas Jacquez recently joined Federal-Mogul as part of the acquisition of Affinia Global Chassis. While at Affinia, Nick and his team pioneered the field of “Market Science”, applying advanced analytics and data handling practices to the industry’s difficult demand assessment, inventory and category management challenges. Nick’s manufacturing sector experience also includes 3 years as Director of Brand Development and Category Management at Intermatic, manufacturer of Malibu landscape lights, where he repositioned the Malibu brand and established a Category Management “Center of Excellence”, focused on key customers Lowe’s, Home Depot and Wal-Mart. Before joining Intermatic, Nick was President of TerraSeer, a predictive analytics software company which he co-founded in 2001. TerraSeer’s interactive technology helps businesses visualize complex data, predict demand and optimize results. Prior to TerraSeer, he spent 11 years in marketing and line management with the Coca-Cola Company. While at Coke’s Atlanta headquarters, he led national strategic planning for the Fast Food and Convenience Retail channels. As Group Director of Marketing for the North Central Area of Coca-Cola Fountain, he and his team managed Coke’s relationships with leading retailers like Applebee’s, White Castle and Casey’s General Stores. Before joining Coca-Cola, Nick spent six years on the advertising agency side, helping to build a portfolio of blue chip brands that included Kraft Foods, Land O’ Lakes, Betty Crocker, 3M Scotchgard and Dairy Queen. Nick holds a BA from the University of Missouri and MBA from the University of Michigan. His career demonstrates a history of success in creating or identifying, and then leveraging strategic innovation to drive business results.
